This sensationalist Daily Prophet reporter and biographer has no problem digging up dirt. Skeeter is notorious for her libelous stories, unethical ways of obtaining information, and entirely false accounts – all in the name of selling her work. Her run-ins with Harry have not been pleasant, as they've resulted in articles suspect about his claim that Voldemort has returned. Skeeter received her end of justice when Hermione forced her to print the truth in The Quibbler, by threatening to report her as an unregistered Animagus. She still managed to tarnish the reputation of Dumbledore with her biography on the deceased Hogwarts headmaster.
Fun Fact: Skeeter's Animagus form is a beetle.
